Yearbook Only Day

Okay first I want to say Thank You so much for everything. The pictures turned out super good and It has made my life very hard, due to the fact that I just cannot seem to decide which of the pictures that I want. I had a large handful of friends and family look at them and then tell me which ones they liked the best and everyone loves number 5 for sure. That one for sure I will be getting copies of. Also number 6 is the one that my boyfriend absoulty loves, so for sure that one I will have to get for him. Also number 3 is also one that many people loved. I just wanted to express what a joy it was to photograph the whole Del Oro High School yesterday morning in Loomis, CA. All of the students were on their best behavior. Del Oro's yearbook staff was well organised. It was a perfect day and photographing all of the 1700 students at one time went off without a hitch!

This afternoon could not come any sooner, knowing I was going to photograph Sequoia all over Auburn. We started off going to the Courthouse and finally ended up on some railraod tracts in north auburn. Here are a few samples of our work together. I can't believe I was talked into workin on a holiday..........But, I was! and we had a great time. Yesterday I had a chance to photograph a set of twins. Meghan and Kristen just turned 18 this last weekend and got these great tattoos. Of course I had to show them off a little....smiles.

Today I was so glad my family was not afraid of a little sprinkle. Instead of photographing in the studio we decided to take a walk in the rain. The portraits I photographed were absolutly amazing! Thanks guys for putting up with my requests. Here are a few samples.

It has been some time for me to publish on my blog. I had to take a break though and feature a couple of children that go to a local Auburn preschool. These portraits came out so beautiful! It was a warm fall morning and the light was perfect. I want to thank Stephanie at Sugar and spice for giving me the opportunity to photograph her Preschool and the parents for allowing me to share.

Last Saturday, Kaylee, Brandon and I met early at Larry and Lena's Pizza in Alta Sierra. We headed up to the Yuba River as I have done several times this summer. As we waited for the light to be optimal we sipped coffee and wiped the sleep from our eyes. Here is a video of some of Kaylee's Senior portraits we photographed that morning. Well it took me a while, but, I finally uploaded my son's "Senior Portrait Video" up to my YouTube account. Please follow the link and check it out. Hard to beleive he is graduating on Friday. Even harder to believe, he is my second. Both boys plan to go to Humboldt State next year. The house is going to be a lot more quiet come mid July with just Abby around.
